Questions about Rentify Society
Who can use Rentify Society?
Apartment associations, housing societies, cooperative housing societies and RWAs of any size, with access for the committee, owners, tenants and security staff.
How are maintenance dues calculated?
By a flat rate or per square foot, on a monthly or quarterly schedule. Sinking fund and corpus contributions are tracked alongside regular maintenance.
Can we set our own late fee rules?
Yes. Late fees are fully configurable for each society.
Which financial reports does it produce?
Receipts and Payments, Income and Expenditure, the member register, and defaulters with ageing. Each is built from the society's own records and can be printed or downloaded as CSV.
Do residents get access?
Yes. Residents can see their own dues, download receipts, read notices, book amenities and raise complaints. Society documents, finances and voting are for owners and the committee.
Can security guards see the society's accounts?
No. Security and staff get the tools for visitors, deliveries and assigned work, without access to financial information.
Does it support AGMs and voting?
Yes. Rentify Society handles meeting notices, quorum and proxies, and voting is counted by flat, not by head. Minutes and records stay available to authorised members.
Is there a mobile app?
Android and iPhone apps for Rentify Society are coming soon. Until then, it runs in the browser on any phone or computer at society.rentifyservices.com, so residents don't need to install anything.
